So I see "The Rifleman" is no longer on the Encore Western program schedule! My family and I watched this show every night at 7...we are very
disappointed.

I've been meaning to reply to the movie question, but a friend told me today Chuck was off the schedule.It's a good thing I saved some to tivo. Just
like everything else that was good, the boot channel will take it off. A few examples; Hoppy, Tim Holt. fallguy.

My husband and I are also bitterly disappointed about this. We tuned in Monday night, as usual, and found that it is no longer being broadcast. I very much
appreciate the link you provided for contacting the network. We have already voiced our displeasure and I hope that many of the other members of the Rifleman
community will as well. Let's hope they actuallly listen for once and bring the show back!

The network usually runs the show in cycles. They run The Rifleman for a year or two and then they shut it down for around 6 months until the dust settles. I
would expect ole Luke will be back shooting up half the town in about four months. Hey, he needs the rest. Besides, his rifle barrel would melt otherwise.

Audioguy...did Encore give you a start-up date when they'll be running The Rifleman?
They usually take a 6 month break and then run the episodes for a year or two. If that runs true, they should be back on cable soon. I don't get Direct TV, but it could be a good sign for those of us who don't, that they have been showing them. Let's go Comcast!! Get on the ball before the Rifleman comes gunning for you too.
