As a kid I was a big classic TV Western fan, The Rifleman being on my top list of favorite shows along with the Big Valley, Bonaza and slews of Western
movie classic, all of which were re-runs on local PBS channels at the time.
But what I loved about The Rifleman was the great father & son interaction between Lucas and Mark which I've carried in my heart as a die hard girl
fan, lol. I even managed to write a fanfic based on the show called "Lost"
About five years ago I had the extreme honor of meeting Mr. Crawford in LA when he was playing in his band. I was absolutely stunned to see he was as charming
in real life as he was as a child actor on the series. He truly seemed to enjoy life and has been an inspiration to me.
