Glad I found this website......The Rifleman was my favorite show going up as a kid and Chuck Conners was a boyhood hero of mine.....seems like we don't have heroes on TV any more.....but back to my question. Chuck (because of his size) could spin a 20" rifle. I would think this would all be based on your arm length. I'm only 5'-10" and I'm sure spinning a 20" rifle would end up with me hitting my body somewhere. Do you spin a 20" rifle? I see shorten (trapper) versions with a 16" barrel, but that looks a little funny to me......maybe an 18" version would be better for us shorter guys. Just wondering since I seen on this website somewhere that you said you weren't that tall........again....thanks for keeping the "Rifleman" alive for all of us....great website....
