I've watched the video... Mike, how did you do it? I know it was lots of practice but what other techniques might some one employ to be a better "hip
shooter"??? Any suggestions would probably help me with the pistol shooting, too.
I sure want one of these rifles! Have you made any for SASS, CASS, FASS, or MCAS folks yet?

I have performed at S.A.S.S. , but I have never made a rifle for one of the organizations. Over the past four months I have gotten almost 800 requests for fans wanting rifles, and half as many wanting levers. Currently there are between 6000 - 7000 fans per month on my main site. Since I don't make a living doing this, and it's so time consuming, I have had to bow out for a while to work on other projects of my own. This is not a commercial site for profit, only an entertainment fan website. Regarding your question on shooting techniques, there is quite a big difference between point shooting a rifle as I do and pistol shooting. Since I don't shoot a pistol like you do, I probably wouldn't be much help to you. You are right though, It takes practice as with anything else you choose to do well. I will say this, I have spent more time learning to handle the rifle than I have shooting it, I practice both left handed as well as right handed. The coordination of both left and right I think is important to what I do with the rifle. You can see me left handed as well as right handed in my new video "Shootout at Circle M City Ranch. Thanks for the reply. I can imagine the SASS folks won't leave you alone-me included. LOL! You have to draw the line some where so you can have a little time for your own life. I really don't blame you for bowing out for a while, as you say, on the making of these rifles. I believe O'Henry rifles are making a big ringed lever rifle that SASS folks can order for about $750. Course, it ain't a copy of the Rifleman's gun but it's got the big ringed lever... at least according to the drawing of it I've seen in some SASS paraphernalia some where. Although, I'm doubtful that anyone could master the Chuck Connor's actions with it the way you have with your copy of the gun!!! You're quite good as I'm sure you're very aware at shooting the rifle and with both hands as anyone can see by watching your videos. Keep it up!
